Here's the latest....
The number of sold homes surged 12.6 percent higher compared to last year, which is GREAT news and continues to show that we are recovering from the weak housing market. The average home sales price in October was also up 1.1 percent to $242,526, and the median sales price was up 1.6 percent to $203,120. I feel lucky to live in this part of the state....our part of the country has fared much better than others.
And there's more......Year to date, the Triangle housing market's home sales are up 4.5 percent compared to the year prior. The average home sale prices are up 3.5 percent. Inventory levels remain low for homes available on the market-- they fell 5.9 percent, meaning there are less homes on the market for sale and indicating it's still a buyer's market.
If you've been curious about what's selling in your neighborhood or how much your home is worth, email, text , or call me. I'd be happy to show you your home's value and to see if you're ready to make the next move.
